June 23 - 25, 2006    BIONICON 1.0

The first ever Bionic convention took place in Tampa, Florida from June 23 - 25, 2006.  Themed as "The Legacy Of Kenneth Johnson," the celebrities in attendance were Lindsay Wagner, Richard Anderson, Lou Ferrigno, Marc Singer, Carmen Argenziano, Erin Gray, Herbert Jefferson Jr., Denny Miller and of course, Kenneth Johnson.  Fans were treated to a presentation of The Bionic Woman two-part episode "Doomsday Is Tomorrow" with live commentary by the director Kenneth Johnson.  A banquet with the stars took place in which a tribute to Lindsay was presented and all in attendance got to celebrate Lindsay's birthday with cake and singing! Other events included celebrity question and answer periods with the fans, autograph as well as photo sessions.  The producer says the event was a success and that a second installment should be forthcoming, most likely in Los Angeles and again in June of 2007.  Please visit the bionicon website by clicking here.
