It looks like trouble for the mayor. He insists a low bid on a freeway overpass be accepted by his city council, even though the bid comes from the son of a jailed man, put there by Alcala for some crooked dealings in the construction company. Broderick Crawford is the jailed man and Dack Rambo is his son, determined to prove the family name is an honest one. Only, there is an accident and man is injured and dies. Lindsay Wagner plays Rambo's wife.
