Another Hollywood marriage on the rocks after a valiant attempt to keep it together is that of Lindsay Wagner and Allan Rider, married in September of 1971 and separated the same month in 1973.



I interviewed Lindsay right after she clicked opposite Peter Fonda in "Two People" and was just preparing to take on her second starring role in "The Paper Chase." Universal was very high on her future — and Lindsay was very high on her marriage.



According to intimates, trouble started when Rider quit his position as director of two successful music companies to take on the guidance of his wife's career.
