Lindsay Wagner stars in the title role of "The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan," a gothic tale of a woman who must go back in time in a desperate attempt to change the course of fate and save the life of her true love, to be presented Wednesday on the CBS Television Network.

Marc Singer stars as the man she meets from the past, and Alan Feinstein stars as her husband, Michael, in the special based on David Williams' novel, "Second Sight." Guest starring is Linda Gray as Jennie's rival. Also starring are Joan Darling, Irene Tedrow, Henry Wilcoxon and Syracuse University graduate Allen Williams as Ed Hartley. The special was directed by Frank de Felitta, from his own script, based on Williams' novel, for Joe Wizan Television Productions.

The drama chronicles the story of one woman's stalwart belief to the triumph of love, and her steadfast pursuit of its meaning for herself. With the hope that a new setting will give their troubled marriage fresh resolve, Jennie and Michael Logan purchase a lovely Victorian home within commoting distance of New York, but away from the hassles of the city and painful memory of Michael`s recent infidelity.

Far from quieting Jennie's hurt and confusion, the house ~ to Michael's dismay - seems to add to her anxieties about the meaning of love and devotion. As Jennie throws herself into restoring the old house to its original style, she finds she's drawn to the world of its earlier
inhabitants. The distant past, she soon discovers, intrudes in her life whenever Jennie escapes to the attic and dons an exquisite antique lace dress.

The garment and the garret — once an artist's studio — become passports to another period in time where Jennie becomes a participant in frightening events revolving around the handsome young artist, David. Although Jennie learns that the real protagonists in the drama met with tragedy 80 years before, she becomes committed to the past and its "ghosts." Then, as her contemporary world begins to close in on her, she attempts a desperate race with fate to save her true love's life.

Miss Wagner recently starred in 'The Incredible Journey of Doctor Meg Laurel," a motion picture-for-television presented last season.

Previously, she starred in the title role of the television series, The Bionic Woman, for which she won a best-actress Emmy Award. She also had a role as Professor Kingsfield's daughter in the film, "The Paper Chase."

Singer has starred on television in the specials, "Something for Joey" and "Things in Their Season," as well as in "Roots: The Next Generation," "79 Park Avenue," "The Contender," "The Taming of the Shrew," and "Cyrano de Bergerac."

Feinstein made his motion picture debut in "Looking for Mr.Goodbar" after an extensive New York stage career and a two-year stint in the daytime serial, Love of Life. On television, he has starred in the features "Alexander: The Other Side of Dawn" and "The Users," and
the series, The Runaways.
