WEDNESDAY: CBS "Memories Never Die" (Made-for-TV-1982) 2'/2 Stars. Lindsay Wagner saves this "stranger returns home" tale, offering a sensitive portrayal of a mother facing her children and husband again after years in a mental clinic. The anxious Wagner deals with uncertainty toward her ailing husband(Gerald McRaney), suspicious children and an antagonistic housekeeper (Barbara Babcock). Yet Ms. Wagner overcomes the heavily rigged story against her character, a feat accomplished with grace and feeling.
