Lindsay Wagner's upcoming appearance on a CBS Kate & Allie episode is a tryout for a possible CBS comedy series. Ms. Wagner this fall will have a baby by ex-husband Henry Kingi, divorced in 1984, but shooting on the proposed series wouldn't start until late 1986 so she could start filming after her child is born. Ms. Wagner will play an actress who returns to school and supports herself with various jobs.
