CBS has canceled "Peaceable Kingdom," Lindsay Wagner and Tom Wopat's low-rated drama series about life at a zoo, as of Dec. 6. The returning "Beauty and the Beast" will take over its Wednesday night slot the following week. CBS also has placed two other new drama series, "Wolf" and "Island Son," on indefinite hiatus. . . .
