At the same time, WTTG runs a two-hour special, "3,000 Miles, 21 Days, 10 Cents," a challenge among six travelers from diverse backgrounds who were divided into three teams and sent from the West Coast to New York without cash or credit cards. Each team had a Yugo to drive, a tank of gas, a dime and their ingenuity. Later, WETA airs a profile of Cary Grant and two installments of "Alive From Off Center" - one is Bill Irwin's tribute to silent film comedians, the other recreating village life in the Middle Ages.THURSDAYNOTRE DAME VS.
