The film tries very hard to be a solid suspense thriller, and at times it succeeds thanks to its interesting premise and plot. Lindsay Wagner stars as the victim, a widowed heiress-by-marriage who has since remarried and moved on. Frances Sternhagen adds the kind of elegance this project aspires to, but falls victim to the script and less than terrific direction.
