AGUA DULCE - Jolene's Horse Rescue is set to benefit Saturday from its second annual celebrity auction and barbecue.

The fund-raiser will begin at 11 a.m. at the ranch, 7535 Valley Sage Road, adjoining the Antelope Valley Freeway at Escondido Canyon Road.

Celebrities scheduled to attend include actresses Lindsay Wagner and Stefanie Powers; Lucille Bliss, voice of the wicked stepmother in Disney's ``Cinderella''; blues guitarist John Lee Hooker; and actor John Phillip Law from ``The Young and the Restless.''

The day will include a Western lunch of barbecued ribs, a silent auction, games for children and entertainment by a band called Good Ol' Country Boys.

Tickets are $25, or $10.50 for children under age 12.

Jolene's Horse Rescue is a nonprofit organization that rescues abused, neglected and abandoned horses, as well as horses headed for slaughter. For information, call (661) 268-8996.
