Heather Locklear, Lindsay Wagner and Robert Wagner host a two- hour special recounting memorable moments of the past 40 years in television since TV Guide began publishing on April 3, 1953.

The special will look at programs and performers, controversial issues and trends on television that have influenced Americans.

Television's classic moments will be presented by genre: family programs, westerns, variety shows, detective shows, cop shows, sci- fi/fantasy shows, ensemble comedies, music programs, news productions, soap operas, sports and late-night programming. Other segments will look at television's groundbreaking women, teenage idols and favorite comics (based on the magazine's readers' polls). Also featured: "What I Watch," based on a weekly feature in which celebrities reveal their viewing patterns.
