Animal rights activists will hold a vegetarian version of the Inaugural Ball at Washington's Willard Hotel on Jan. 19. Those expected to attend include k.d. lang, Alec Baldwin, Kim Basinger, Kevin Nealon, Lindsay Wagner and pop poet Rod McKuen. Furs will be frowned upon but bare skin is OK. Servers at the ball will wear only aprons imprinted with: "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur."
