MGM's sexy thriller Assassination Tango whirls into stores on Dec. 9 (prebook Nov. 11) priced at $27.50 on VHS and $25.98 on disc. Written and directed by Robert Duvall (who also stars), Tango follows a hit man whose job in Buenos Aires is complicated by a seductive dancer. The DVD comes with a commentary, deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes photos. The studio also delivers the snowboarding horror film Shredder on Dec. 16 (prebook Oct. 18) at the same prices. * Lindsay Wagner stars in the holiday tale A Light in the Forest, coming to rental-priced VHS and $24.98 DVD on Oct. 28 (prebook Oct. 7) from Ardustry. * Brain Damage Films releases the vampire video premiere movie Strange Things Happen at Sundown on Nov. 11 (prebook Oct. 28). * Jeremy Sisto and Eliza Dushku take a Wrong Turn on Oct. 14 (order now), with deleted scenes, three featurettes and a poster gallery on disc ($27.98). The VHS will be part of Fox's One Price Lease program.
