The Academy of Friends, which is having its 25th annual Academy Awards Night Gala on Sunday at Fort Mason, sends word that Lindsay Wagner will be there wearing a "star-studded million dollar gown." According to the press release about the event, which raises money for HIV/AIDS service agencies, the gown features a "striking design of replicated hand-beaded signatures onto the European black velvet. ... Donated by over 350 celebrity women," including Elizabeth Taylor, Sharon Stone, Barbra Streisand, Hilary Swank, Queen Latifah and Mother Teresa. Somewhere in heaven, the celebrity nun must be busting the buttons off her angelic robe to have her beaded signature right there alongside those of Liz Hurley and Lucy Liu.
